Santa Comes to Visit!

Santa came all the way from Kenosha to visit the Dutter House today. We all had a great time. He was amazing! Thanks to the Albertie's for the Happy meals. The kids were all great and we had a fun time!

Jack Pohl Annual Golf Outing

On September 19, 2009 the Pohl family held The Jack Pohl Annual Golf Outing at The Beloit Municipal Golf Course. All of the proceeds from the outing were donated to the Dutter House. The event raised over $1,400.00! A special thanks to Brett, Kathy and Dori Pohl for their support (Pictured below with Rosemary Dutter). Chuck Donkle and his team (Pictured Below) took first place in the event. A special thanks to Chuck for his many donations to the Dutter House and for his continued support. Chuck's late Mother, Virginia Donkle, was a strong advocate for children and dedicated her life to helping children in need.

Frito Lay Work Day

On September 19th and 20th employees from Frito Lay donated their time to paint the interior of the house, plant new plants around the house, re-work the electrical in the house and many other items in need. A very special Thank You to all of the people who spent their weekend helping and to Frito Lay for donating all of the material!

Work Day

In August we had a work day and invited people in the community to come and help clean up the house and get things ready. We had a tremendous turn out of people! We would like to thank all of those who came out to help! Food was donated by The Road Dawg and chips were donated by Frito Lay. Frito Lay is organizing another work day for September 19th and 20th!

        

 

Walk-Run

In August Tim Dutter hosted a walk-run to benefit the Dutter House in Colorado Springs, CO. The event was a great success and raised over $700.

Rummage Sale

In August we had a rummage sale at the Dutter House. We raised over $500 and had a great opportunity to meet many who are interested in being a part of the Dutter House. Thank you to those who donated items to sell and came to help.

Fencing

Rock County Fence and Deck donated all of their labor to fence in the entire yard at the Dutter House. His team completed the fencing in less than a week and did a fantastic job! A special thank you to Josh and his team for all of their work. A special thanks to Frito Lay for donating the cost of the materials for the fence!

The Beloit Holiday Parade

Wade Williams/Coldwell Banker Premier Bort's sponsored the Dutterhouse float in the annual holiday parade this year. Bob Ames from The American Legion provided the flags and walked with our float, handing out candy to the children. Also participating were Joe, Trisha and Ryleigh Rose; Isabella, Rosemary, Cassie and Mark Dutter and Laura Williams. We handed out flyer's, candy and greetings to the community.

 

Elaine made us a Hungry Caterpillar Quilt and wall hanging

The City of Beloit Fire Department, Engine 3, came to the Dutterhouse and installed all of the smoke detectors for the Dutterhouse. A big THANKS to the Fire Department and to the firefighters who took time out of their day to help.

 


Consumer Care Products, LLC, donated a "Big Hug" to us.  The "Big Hug" is ergonomically designed to comfort, calm and redirect the energy of those who would benefit from deep pressure therapy.




January Night of Respite was a huge success!  Thanks to all our volunteers who helped make it possible!


We made a variety of valentines for our February Night of Respite.



We enjoyed a nice day during Spring Break!



McNeel Jr. High 8th Grade Service Group - Blue House cleans and interacts with Converse kids.


Larissa Lois and family, with the help of Wiggy's Bar and Seneca Foods raised $750.00 for The Dutter House.  Thanks to everyone for the help and support.


Open House August, 2010


We had great fun at our Applebee's Breakfast fundraiser.  We raised $1,348!  We would like to thank everyone who helped out, came out to join us for breakfast & who gave donations.  We appreciate your support.  Check out the photos below.



Day of Caring September 21, 2011

Blackhawk Bank and Beloit Memorial Hospital spent some time cleaning inside and out!  Thank you VERY MUCH!  We really appreciate all your work.




Summer Fun 2011
