The Dutter House was established in memory of Ryan and Kyle Dutter, by the Dutter Family, with the goal of opening a respite care center in Rock County for children with special needs. This center is a place like "Grandma's house", where children with special needs receive quality care from trained staff, work with volunteers, and interact with others. Parents, meanwhile, gain some relief from the demands of caring for a child with disabilities, knowing that their child is secure, comfortable, and happy for a period of time away from them. Thanks to numerous donations, contributions, and efforts by community organizations and individuals, we are now open.

The Dutter House Now Has Daycare/Preschool for All Children Ages 2-5!

The Dutter House will be offering Daycare/Preschool to all children ages 2-5 in the lower level of The Dutter House!

The Dutter House Daycare/Preschool is open from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Parents can choose either morning or afternoon sessions 5 days a week, or Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thu for their child. The Dutter House will also have AM Preschool available!

The Dutter House welcomes Jennifer Stowers as our new full-time Daycare/Preschool teacher and manager of our daycare/preschool program! Ms. Jenn has been teaching since July of 2004 and earned her Associates Degree of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education with honors from Ashworth College.
